Chief Medical Officer (Administration) Open Until

Occupational Summary The Chief Medical Officer is
responsible for the overall management of all Clinical programs at Lincoln Community Health
Center including the Internal Medicine and Pediatric Departments. Responsible for the staffing,
productivity requirements, contractual relationships, and scheduling for clinical areas including
the Early Intervention, Walltown, Lyon Park, Hillside, Homeless, Lincoln-Duke Urgent Care and
the Just for Us program. The Chief Medical Officer will have the responsibility for the overall
management of all quality of care program and will coordinate lab, x-ray and pharmacy services.
The position directly supervises the Adult Medicines and Pediatric Chiefs, Director of Nursing
and Dental Director.
Qualifications The position requires
knowledge of medical management, with health center medical management preferred. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills are also required. The position requires completion of
Medical School and Residency Programs as well as Board Certification in Internal Medicine and
Pediatric or Family Practice.
A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in
Adult and Pediatric care is required. Five (5) years of clinical leadership is also required
preferably in a large Physician Practice or Community Health Center.

Occupational Summary Primary responsibility for the
medical management of patients in the Early Intervention Clinic. Augments the physicians ability

Qualifications Thorough

these can best be met by appropriate use of facilities and personnel. Ability to communicate with
skill, clarity and accuracy with the patients, physicians and ancillary health workers at all levels.
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
or Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Must have a current license to practice in the state
of North Carolina. Certification in designated field required. Minimum of one (1) year
experience as a Mid-Level required. Previous experience in an administrative or supervisory role
is also required.

community resources and the general public.
Master's degree in Social Work required.
A minimal of three (3) years Post Master's work experience as a clinical social work in a health
or mental health setting or five (5) years experience in a non-clinical setting. N.C. LCSW is
required.
