Chief Medical Officer
(Administration)

Occupational Summary
The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the overall management of all Clinical programs at Lincoln Community Health Center including the Internal Medicine and Pediatric Departments. Responsible for the staffing, productivity requirements, contractual relationships, scheduling for clinical areas including the Early Intervention, Walltown, Lyon Park, Hillside, Homeless, Holton Clinic and Just for Us program. The Chief Medical Officer will have the responsibility for the overall management of all services. The position directly supervises the Adult Medicine and Pediatric Chiefs, Director of Nursing and Dental Director.

Qualifications
The position requires knowledge of medical management, with health center medical management preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. The position requires completion of Medical School and Residency Programs as well as Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics or Family Medicine.

A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Adult and Pediatric care is required. Five (5) years of clinical leadership is also required preferably in a large Physician Practice or Community Health Center.

Bilingual Dental Assistant
(Dental)

Occupational Summary
Provides assistance to dentist. Prepares patients for treatment, processes dental x-ray films, sets up instruments and dental materials and sterilizes instrument after patient treatment, chart dental anomalies, maintains dental records and routine clerical duties.

Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of dental equipment and supplies. Considerable knowledge of manipulation of laboratory equipment. The ability to expose and develop x-rays. Must have good customer services skills. Must be Bilingual.

Completion of certified program in dental assistance and successful completion of the certification exam. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a dental office preferred.

Family. Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician

Occupational Summary
Performs a variety of duties while serving in the health center to provide standard medical services to patients. Examines patients utilizing medical equipment, tests and other appropriate instruments. Orders or ex or executes various tests, analyses x-rays to provide information on patients' conditions.

Qualifications
Capable of evaluating findings of the patients' histories, physical examinations, and diagnostics procedures and tests to provide the maximum benefits toward improving the patients' health and general well being in the most humane fashion. Works independently or as a team member limited only by Center's policy and special instructions of the Chief Medical Officer.

Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina. Completed (residency in internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Family Practice) and eligible or certified by appropriate specialty board. If not Board Certified at the time of hiring, physicians must become board certified within 3 years in order to maintain privileges. Two to three years of medical experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Clinical experience in an ambulatory setting desirable.

Graduation from a accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Must have a current license to practice in the State of North Carolina. Certification in designated field required. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Mid-level Provider required. Bilingual Preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant
(Pediatrics)

Occupational Summary
Provides a variety of clinical duties under the direction of a Medical Provider as well as perform outreach activities. Follow establishes Medical Assistant guidelines as approved by Lincoln Community Health Center.

Qualifications
General clinical knowledge to include performing basic laboratory test, patient education, patient medical histories usually obtained through clinical internships. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff and Medical Providers.

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting Program preferably with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting supplemented by the RMA and/or CMA exam.

Clinical Pharmacist
(Adult Medicine Clinic)

Occupational Summary
Provide pharmaceutical services to the patients in the Adult Medicine Clinic focusing on education, counseling and medication management. The primary focus shall be on chronic opioid medications and patient intervention.

Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and all levels of staff including Physicians. Knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern prescribing narcotics medication required. The position requires the ability to persuade and educate individuals from all backgrounds to and facilitate the appropriate use of opioids.

A minimum of five (5) years of professional Social Work or Social Science experience is required supplemented by and additional two years of supervisory experience.

Pharm D degree is preferred. Two years of clinical experience preferably with under-served communities. Some experience education appropriate use of narcotics preferred.

Clinical Nurse Manager

Responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with the management of personnel as assigned. Demonstrates the use of the nursing process. Actively supports the LCHC's mission of service and education.

Qualifications
Knowledge of professional nursing practices techniques and procedures. Knowledge of community health nursing in promotion, and prevention. Knowledge of Nursing Diagnosing. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to supervise nursing personnel. Ability to exercise sound judgment and react appropriately in emergency situations. Skill in the application of nursing procedures and ability to investigate and study trends and developments in nursing practices.

Education
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and have a current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. B.S.N. preferred.

Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, supplemented by courses in Human Resources required. PHR Certification Strongly preferred. Two (2) years experience in a professional Human Resources role strongly preferred but may be substituted with education.

Occupational Summary
Provide complex clinical nutritional services and medical nutrition therapy to medically - high risk clients and provide program management including but not limited to planning, managing, implementing and evaluating the WIC Program.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Position requires an advanced knowledge and skill in comprehensive nutrition assessment and care planning, including problem diagnosis, counseling, evaluation of clients from diverse backgrounds and ages, who have a multitude of complex, high-risk medical needs. Advanced skill in interpreting nutrition standards to other health professionals and the public is needed. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability in staff development, assuring staff accountability, conducting employee performance evaluations. Excellent communication skills are required and the ability to plan, direct and evaluate program effectiveness is also required. Ability to develop and monitor compliance and quality assurance activities is also required.

Education and Experience
Registered Dietician with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition from an accredited college or university, one year experience in dietetics education and three (3) years Supervisory experience.
